Before you even know it, the fall season is almost here. It seems just like yesterday when we were all talking about how excited we were for Umineko no Naku Koro Ni. I love this time of year, we all get to speculate on how shows will turn out to be and then look back on how far off we were. *waves to Seitokai no Ichizon*

Star Driver: Radiant Takuto is BONES’s offering for this season, a cool looking original fantasy mecha action thingy. Shows like this are massive blobs of hit or miss. I’m going to refrain for saying that it looks a little dumb (oops I failed) but I wouldn’t be surprised if this show turned out good. Director Igarashi Takuya rarely misses the mark too much.

Iron Man hell yes. The art looks sharp, and I expect Madhouse quality action scenes. I don’t know much about this show besides Fujiwara Keiji being cast as Tony Stark, but I’ll watch it simply because it’s IRON MAN.

Panty and Stocking – Gainax, put the marijuana down and make shows that I would want to watch again. This looks like some ungodly cross of Chu-Bra and Katanagatari. I always thought that fanservice and Gainax just didn’t feel right. I mean you got Nia and Nono as cute sentimental heroines, but people who fag over them are rather creepy. Fanservice was Yoko, which somehow just didn’t work. Now you want to try lolis and fetishism? I will gladly stand corrected when I see it, but stick to drills.

Psychic Detective Yakumo – Looks cool. Neat premise, kinda like the short-lived Anthony Michael Hall TV thriller Dead Zone, except with more desu. Execution is everything.

Skipping onto shows that actually merit my attention…

Bakuman – Now whenever I see two people standing with their heads in that opposing pose in that preview pic, I can’t stop thinking about Toradora. Oh look it’s J.C. Staff…

Soredemo Machi wa Mawatteiru – Maids, comedy, and SHAFT. Sign me up.

Hyakka Ryouran Samurai Girls – lmao what the hell is this shit.

To Aru Majutsu no Index 2 – Why am I going to watch this after I absolutely despised the first season of “no Index”? Well, as Aya Hirano once famously said, god knows. (that and biribiri)

Sora no Otoshimono 2 – Sora no Otoshimono bears the unique distinction as the only anime based solely on panties that I have not been able to finish. Pass.

Motto To Love Ru – Great, more To Love Ru…

Hetalia Axis Powers 4 – There are 3 seasons of this already? Good lord…

My Little Sister Can’t Be This Cute! – Something is telling me this is going to be so dumb but hilarious. Incest is wincest, loli, AIC. You had me at hello.

Fortune Arterial is going to suck but Erika Sendou is in my secret eroge harem so I will watch this for that reason alone.

Pokemon Best Wishes – Oh man a Pokemon Black and White adaptation. They are even going to have new Pokemon introduced! Anime of the season right here.
