Last week’s results about the Anime Power Rankings

Tamako Market continues to impress. It doesn’t try to blow things out of proportion with melodrama, but simply tells a cute short story that seems to hit home every week. This week featuring Anko was icing on the cake.

Meanwhile, Mondaiji continues to take every opportunity to poke fun at Kurousagi. While I’m a bit disappointed there haven’t been any really good action scenes, things should be heating up as they try to take on the Perseus community.

Nazarielle (The Shallow End)

Since we’re updating on Monday, I will keep it brief this week. Y’all have terrible taste for not watching Sakurasou no Pet na Kanojo. It’s also pleasant to see Uchuu Kyoudai back into the top five now that things are happening. I am honestly surprised people are still watching at all. This week was the closest we’ve ever come to having every eligible anime receive votes. Da Capo III was unfortunately the only anime shut out this week. It has yet to receive a single point all season.

I was skeptical with last week’s time skip in Shin Sekai Yori, but it looks like we’re finally seeing the conflict that the past seventeen episodes have been backstory for. It’s thrilling. I’m rooting for Squealer in all this, he’s such a great character and he deserves to win his war.

Psycho-pass is moving to its climactic conflict too, but it’s being kinda artless about it, and it basically ripped off the plot from one of the Die Hard movies anyhow. Shin Sekai Yori is beautiful and original.
